Welcome

Webster Educational Services (WES) offers specialized educational services to children (JK through Grade 12) and adults both within and beyond Waterloo Region. WES designs and implements individualized tutorial, remedial, and enrichment programs based on each student’s unique learning style.

As an independent learning centre which specializes in learning differences, WES develops tailored programs to reflect each student’s learning needs by employing a wide variety of traditional materials, and then supplementing with adaptive technology and other computer software. Our educational programs are directed toward improving fundamental skills and self-confidence, and delivered employing teaching strategies consistent with recent brain-based research.

In order to provide optimal academic support services to individuals, WES is committed to collaborating closely with those people working with the student in other settings, be it educators, psychologists, audiologists, occupational therapists, or social workers.

Mission Statement

We, at Webster Educational Services, are committed to:

“Making a difference for children now and in the future”

By providing students with engaging/dynamic learning experiences in a caring/nurturing, individualized and structured environment so that they will experience improved academic success, and increased self-confidence
By assisting students to access their full potential by developing academic compensatory learning strategies and skills, and thereby to become motivated, independent learners
By supporting students in developing the critical skills of “learning how to learn” and the importance of life-long learning
By addressing the needs of the “whole child” -intellectually, social-emotionally, and medically/physically – so that each student can see the wealth of future possibilities which will lead to one becoming self-reliant, proud, contributing, responsible citizen within our community.
By increasing awareness among parents, educators, support staff, and clinicians through workshops, mini sessions, and conferences
